Plasticino’s insulated steel safety roller shutters represent a deterrent, offering outstanding resistance to attempted break-in thanks to the features of the materials they are made from and their security fittings.
The insulated steel roller shutter is formed of slats joined together to form a true “wall” sealed with plugs at the sides to ensure silent use and make it easy to roll and unroll. The steel laminate is 0.4 mm thick and comes in 26 standard colours, obtained by “plasticising” it with pigments resistant to UV rays and scratching. This ensures protection against the elements, internal insulation and soundproofing.

Manual or automatic deadbolts can be installed on all models to prevent opening.
PVC roller shutters are also preferred for their thermal insulating properties, as polyvinylchloride has intrinsic insulating properties, and are popular for their excellent price to quality ratio; this explains why PVC roller shutters still account for such a large share of the market.
ALUMINIUM WITH MEDIUM-DENSITY AND HIGH-DENSITY POLYURETHANE
Lightweight, colourful, not prone to deform or fade in sunlight, every single aluminium slat in these roller shutters is insulated with polyurethane. They are manufactured in our own profiling plants using pre-painted thick slats, available in 36 standard colours and with 2 types of foam: classic “medium-density” and particularly robust “high-density”.
Insulated aluminium roller shutters require absolutely no maintenance with outstanding durability, with the added advantage of being lightweight and easy to handle.
The top of the range is this model made with 0.36 mm thick aluminium sheeting foamed with polyurethane having a density of more than 250 kg/m3 and standard painted extruded aluminium endpieces with a soundproofed seal. All this means security, and protection against hailstorms.
